I turn complex enterprise infrastructure into coherent products — aligning identity, security, administration, and AI around the people who depend on them.
Two products that show how I move between product vision, systems thinking, and execution.
01
Webex Control Hub2015–Present
From zero to the control plane for enterprise collaboration.
As founding designer and later design lead, I helped grow Control Hub from an early concept into a multi-million-user administration platform — spanning onboarding, identity, security, licensing, analytics, troubleshooting, and AI-assisted operations.

Cisco Unified IdentityEnterprise platform
One identity foundation across the Cisco portfolio.
I spearheaded the UX strategy for a company-wide initiative to unify user management across Cisco cloud products, including Meraki, ThousandEyes, Security, and Webex. The work brings fragmented identity lifecycles into one scalable, secure system.

How I lead
Clarity is a design deliverable.
My job is to create the conditions for good decisions — a shared vision, strong systems, honest critique, and enough trust for designers to do the best work of their careers.
01
Set the frame
Turn ambiguity into a clear problem, a meaningful customer outcome, and a path the team can own.
02
Design the system
Build reusable frameworks that resolve today's experience while making tomorrow's work faster.
03
Grow the people
Coach with context and candor. Match individual craft strengths to the moments where they matter most.
About
Based in the San Francisco Bay Area
Designer by craft. Connector by nature.
I'm Lu, a product design leader who is most energized by hard, consequential platform problems — the kind that require zooming out to reshape a system, then zooming in to make every interaction earn its place.
At Cisco, I recruited and developed a team of eight designers across identity and security, licensing, AI integration, analytics, and design systems. Earlier in my career, I worked in UX research and visual design, experiences that still shape how I listen and how I make complexity visible.
